Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, specializing in maternal and newborn care, is responsible for providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal outcomes for patients and their families, while effectively communicating pertinent information to the healthcare team.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS certification; at least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience; NRP certification; Epic experience; OBIX experience.
• Responsibilities include formulating effective nursing care plans within the Labor and Delivery department, performing a wide variety of professional nursing services, and effectively communicating with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Preferred qualifications are not specified for this role.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Interested candidates should be available to start on 10/27/2026 and available to work through 01/23/2027, with the possibility of up to one (1) week of requested time off (RTO) at the start of employment.
