Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Provider, ACLS Must-Have: - BLS Provider Registered Nurse required - Advanced Life Support BLS - ACLS Description: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care. Communicate the patient's condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
