Senior HVAC/R Technician - Commercial Kitchen Refrigeration

With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add an experienced HVAC/R Technician to our dynamic team at Boston Logan International Airport. Scope of work The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment used in commercial kitchens. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and resolve problems quickly. Strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills are essential to excel in this position. Compensation $60.00 - $75.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k Shift 6:00am – 2:30 pm, 10:00am - 6:30pm. Days off to be Determined. Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment- including walk-in freezers, coolers, ice machines, rack systems Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for commercial equipment and perform necessary repairs Conduct routine maintenance inspections of hot & Cold commercial equipment to ensure they operate at peak efficiency Train and develop HVAC/R technicians Respond to calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVAC/R work, including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Document all work performed, repairs completed, and maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety Requirements Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License Minimum 7 years of proven experience in hot & Cold commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC/R commercial equipment, such as ice machines, low boy coolers, walk-in freezers, and walk-in coolers, and other commercial refrigerant equipment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria #J-18808-Ljbffr Grouponellc
