Senior Software Engineer – Post Trade | Chicago
\n \nI’m working with a leading global proprietary trading firm looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer into its Post Trade engineering team in Chicago.
\n \nThis is a high-impact role building and scaling the systems that sit behind a global trading operation, working across complex distributed systems with varying latency, reliability and data requirements.
\n \nWhat they’re looking for:
\n• 5+ years’ professional experience with Python OR C++
\n• Strong Linux knowledge, including performance tuning and networking
\n• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
\n• Experience building reliable, scalable distributed systems
\n• Exposure to FIX / electronic trading systems is highly desirable
\n• Strong CS fundamentals and a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline
\nYou’ll be working on systems supporting the full post-trade lifecycle across a global trading business, with significant ownership over architecture and technical direction.
\n \nChicago – Hybrid
