Food Runner

Hudson Roastery is looking for a reliable and service-minded Food Runner/Busser to join their busy destination café in Hudson, NY. This is a hands‑on kitchen support position that combines back‑of‑house responsibilities with direct customer interaction. You’ll help keep service running smoothly by delivering food from the open‑air kitchen, clearing tables, and keeping dishes clean and organized. Because this is a both BOH and FOH position, this role is ideal for someone who is professional, communicates well, and understands the importance of creating a positive guest experience. The position requires an early start, with shifts beginning at 6:30 a.m. Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available. What You’ll Do Run completed food orders from the open‑air kitchen to customers promptly and accurately Interact professionally and courteously with guests while delivering food Clear and bus tables efficiently as you return from food runs Load, wash, and organize dishes throughout service Keep the dishwashing and kitchen support areas clean, organized, and ready for continuous service Help maintain a smooth flow between the kitchen and dining area Follow proper cleanliness and organization standards throughout each shift Communicate effectively with kitchen and front‑of‑house team members Contribute to a welcoming experience for customers What We’re Looking For Professional demeanor and a customer‑service mindset Comfortable interacting directly with customers Reliable and able to work early morning shifts beginning at 6:30 a.m Comfortable handling both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house responsibilities Strong organizational skills, team‑oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Availability for full‑time or part‑time work, including weekend split shifts Why You’ll Love Working Here Hourly pay ranging from $16.00–$18.00 Full‑time and part‑time scheduling options Day‑shift environment with early morning starts Opportunity to work at a busy destination café in Hudson, NY About the Workplace Hudson Roastery is a destination café located in Hudson, New York, approximately two hours from New York City.
