Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, managing adult patients with diagnoses including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–7 on night shifts, delivering safe and timely nursing interventions
• Float to all inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility infection control and health compliance policies, including masking requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt to frequent changes throughout a shift
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to engage with team and ancillary staff
