Mental Health Counselor

The Couples and Family Counseling & Wellness Center

Job Description

Counseling Clinician | Trauma-Focused Practice\n

Are you a counselor who wants to do deeper, more meaningful trauma work—and have the support to develop the skills to do it?

\n

We’re looking for a compassionate, curious Counseling Clinician to join our growing practice. This position is an opportunity to work with clients while developing specialized skills in trauma-focused and nervous-system-informed treatment.

\n

You don’t need to already be trained in every modality we use. We’re looking for a clinician who is eager to learn, grow, and develop a strong foundation in trauma treatment. We believe great clinicians never stop learning—and we want to invest in your growth.

\n

✨ Opportunities to Learn & Train In:\n
    \n
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • \n
  • Brainspotting
  • \n
  • Neurofeedback
  • \n
  • Trauma-informed and nervous-system-focused interventions
  • \n
  • Evidence-based approaches for PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, and complex trauma
  • \n
  • Integrative approaches that recognize each client’s unique needs and healing process
  • \n
\n

Who We’re Looking For\n

We’d love to meet a clinician who:

\n
    \n
  • Is a licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professional (LPC, LMFT, LISW/LCSW, or applicable equivalent)
  • \n
  • Has a genuine interest in trauma and helping clients move beyond simply managing symptoms
  • \n
  • Is curious about how the brain and nervous system influence emotional health
  • \n
  • Is excited to learn innovative and evidence-informed treatment approaches
  • \n
  • Is compassionate, emotionally attuned, and genuinely present with clients
  • \n
  • Values collaboration, consultation, supervision, and continued professional development
  • \n
  • Is willing to grow alongside a team that is passionate about excellent clinical care
  • \n
This Is More Than a Job\n

We want to create a practice where clinicians can grow their clinical identity and build specialized expertise rather than feeling like they have to figure everything out on their own.

\n

You’ll have the opportunity to expand your clinical toolbox, learn specialized trauma interventions, receive support along the way, and develop confidence working with clients whose experiences may be complex or deeply rooted in trauma.

\n

\n

If you’ve been thinking:

\n

“I want to learn more about trauma treatment, but I need a practice that will support me in getting there…”

\n

—you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

\n

Come grow with us.
