Salary: $79,040 - 83,200 per year Requirements:
- Technical degree or related work experience
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, or MongoDB
- Experience programming in or architecting a back-end language, such as Java or J2EE
- Design, build, install, test, and maintain data management systems
- Develop high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes
- Ensure data systems meet business requirements and industry practices
- Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures
- Establish processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production
- Create custom software components and analytics applications
- Research new ways to use existing data
- Use a range of technologies and tools to connect systems
- Collaborate with data architects, IT staff, data scientists, and other team members to meet project goals
- Install and update disaster recovery procedures
- Recommend improvements to data reliability and quality
