Staff Accountant

Generate and issue client invoices based on signed estimates, project milestones, and change orders. Collaborate with Producers and Project Managers to ensure billing aligns with project scope and timelines. Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and reconcile client payments. Process vendor and freelancer invoices, expense reports, and manage payment schedules. Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks, assist with month-end and year-end closing, and support financial reporting. Support project profitability tracking, cost control, and process improvements to enhance efficiency. Contribute to audit readiness through organized documentation and adherence to company policies. Required Skills: Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in service or project-based environments. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across teams. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with project-based billing or event/agency environments. Familiarity with systems like Docusign and automation tools.
