Medical Information Specialist (Nurse)

ProPharma seeks a Medical Information Specialist with nursing credentials to respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers, document adverse events and product complaints, and maintain quality assurance within a contact center environment supporting pharmaceutical clients across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries for medical and safety information via phone, email, website, and other channels
• Identify, document, and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, and product complaints per regulations
• Formulate accurate medical information responses using approved labeling and published literature
• Log and maintain quality checks on adverse events, complaints, and correspondence in inquiry handling systems
• Provide after-hours coverage on rotated basis as required

Requirements

• Nursing degree (RN, BS, BA, or MS) from Canada or US
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional phone etiquette
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and regulatory standards
• Strong critical thinking, analytical ability, and attention to detail under time pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, receptive to feedback
