Facilities Engineer II

Engineering professional applying scientific and technical expertise to facility engineering projects at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This role involves managing capital projects, designing clean utilities and HVAC systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting facility expansion and upgrades throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Execute facility engineering projects using sound engineering principles and industry best practices
• Lead cleanroom, HVAC, and clean utility system design with technical guidance and oversight
• Manage project scope, scheduling, budgets, and stakeholder communications throughout delivery
• Assess design impacts, failure modes, and implement mitigation strategies for operational continuity
• Develop technical documentation and support regulatory audits and inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, cleanroom classifications, and clean utilities design
• Experience with facility design, project management, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Microsoft Project
• GMP experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred
• Experience in large capital projects and facility upgrades preferred
