Caregiver

Caregiver Part Time: Friday - Saturday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Summary Under the direction of the Director of Resident Services/Charge Nurse or designee, the Caregiver is responsible for performing routine nursing assistant services to the residents of the facility. Provides resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards. Responsibilities Provides quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers, and vendors to ensure satisfaction. Follows all established Front Porch Protocols for safety. Assists residents to and from the dining room and in serving meals, including serving trays in rooms and assisting with food cutting. Assists residents with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. Washes residents' personal laundry as needed and makes beds daily. Maintains a safe and sanitary environment and logs all vital information. Reports to supervisor regularly regarding residents' conditions. Maintains all documentation required by federal, state, and company policy. Arrives to work on time, in a clean uniform, with proper personal hygiene and a visible nametag. Follows highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with all health codes and guidelines for food handling. Performs duties safely and efficiently, wearing required safety equipment and reporting hazards or accidents. Attends all mandatory in-service meetings and complies with departmental policies and procedures. All employees must follow safe work habits to prevent injuries to themselves, residents, visitors, or others. Education and Equivalent Qualifications High School diploma or GED (essential). Experience and Equivalent Qualifications 1+ years of caregiving or related experience (essential). Previous experience in long term care, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative settings preferred.
