Civil Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Civil Engineer with experience in site development, Civil 3D, CAD, stormwater, septic, and SWPPP design . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing civil engineering plans, performing design calculations, supporting permitting, and coordinating with project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive site development plans , including layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility design. Design and analyze grading and stormwater management systems in compliance with applicable regulations. Prepare drainage calculations, stormwater reports, and supporting documentation . Design septic systems and coordinate approvals with relevant environmental agencies. Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports. Conduct site visits for data collection, construction support, and inspections. Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and permitting authorities. Assist with permitting submissions and respond to agency review comments. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget . Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field . 3–5 years of experience in site development or land development engineering. Strong experience with: Site planning and layout Grading and earthwork design Stormwater and drainage design Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D . Experience preparing hydrology and hydraulic calculations . Knowledge of zoning, permitting, and environmental regulations. EIT certification required; PE preferred or ability to obtain. Preferred Skills Experience with residential and/or commercial land development projects. Familiarity with stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD or HEC-RAS . Strong communication and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
