Business Controller

Overview Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a global professional services organization to identify a Business Controller. This highly collaborative leadership role serves as a strategic business partner, supporting financial operations, business development, and account management across a dynamic, fast-paced organization. The Business Controller will play a key role in driving profitability, supporting new business acquisition, ensuring compliance, and partnering with operational leaders to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities Partner with business development and operations teams to support new business pursuits, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and client presentations. Review, negotiate, and execute contracts and agreements while ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements. Monitor account, office, and regional financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations to improve profitability. Support compensation administration, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance metrics tied to business goals. Lead compliance and risk management activities related to employment regulations, contractual obligations, and internal policies. Supervise and develop team members while partnering cross-functionally to support operational and financial objectives. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Four or more years of progressive business, finance, or accounting experience required. Prior supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making.
