JOB DESCRIPTION STAFF ACCOUNTANT: DETAILS Title: Staff Accountant Location: Nashville TN Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $28-$30/hour Type: Contract to Hire Hours: Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours REQUIREMENTS: STAFF ACCOUNTANT Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 1+ years of staff accountant experience Strong understanding of and experience in applying generally accepted accounting procedures in a corporate setting. RESPONSIBILITIES: STAFF ACCOUNTANT Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties. Preparation and distribution of preliminary and final monthly Profit and Loss Statements, Financial Reporting Interaction with Executives, DVP's, RVP's and location managers/directors Document and maintain accounting procedures Balance Sheet analysis to improve and shorten closings General accounting support Essential Balance Sheet Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
