Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and cardiac function through continuous monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and families to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Delegate and supervise tasks to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the practicing state.
• Possess at least two years of recent telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Obtain and hold ACLS certification, as required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
