Maintenance WelderMartin Marietta is seeking a Maintenance Welder to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery. The maintenance welder will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of equipment to include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary.Location: Anderson Creek Quarry, Rockville, VAHours: 6:30AM - 5PM, weekends as necessaryA typical day for a Maintenance Welder may include:Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment often in out of position weldingMaximizing performance of equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basisPerforming fabrication, erection of processing equipment and repairs to processing equipment and mobile equipmentCompleting daily pre and post inspection of working areaOperating other equipment such as loaders and haul trucks in a safe manner as neededAiding in the training of co-workers as neededPerforming other duties as assigned by supervisorYou may be a good fit if you:Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this positionHave one (1) year of experience in welding and maintenanceThe offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range.
