Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator Location: Buffalo, NY Employment Type: Temporary Industry: HR Compensation: $23-35/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday business hours

About the Opportunity: Our client has an immediate need for a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator. This position is an in-person position that requires the candidate to report to the headquarters office Monday - Friday. This position is directly responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in the overall coordination of the human resource and payroll functions. Candidate utilizes knowledge of human resources processes to provide support for all employees at all locations. Primary Responsibilities:

• Screens applicants based on job description and departmental needs.
• Schedule and attend all in-person and virtual interviews to ensure compliance.
• Process background checks through the background check provider platform.
• Process on-boarding for new hires and compile all new hire paperwork.
• Conduct new hire orientations on new employees' first day.
• Coordinate the performance review process.
• Send new hire bios on the new employees' first day.
• Prepare and send birthday announcements.
• Process employee perk raffle prizes.
• Management of the company merch inventory.
• Assist the HR Generalist with payroll and 401k functions as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• 2 years of experience in HR

• BA/BS in Human Resources with minimum 2 years of experience in related area.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to problem-solve and seek resolution to issues as they arise.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to research and analyze information to be applied to situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and HRS systems.
