Payroll Lead

We’re partnering with an organization in the Columbus area that’s looking for a hands‑on Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations and support a union workforce. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the work, leading a small team, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. What you’ll be doing: Leading end-to-end payroll processing on regular payroll cycles Supporting and guiding a small payroll team Managing union payroll requirements and ensuring accurate, compliant processing Troubleshooting payroll issues and answering employee pay‑related questions Processing PTO and supporting employment verifications Assisting with onboarding tasks and general HR administrative support Providing strong internal customer service to employees and leadership What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a payroll lead or senior payroll role Strong background supporting union payroll environments Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑location setting #J-18808-Ljbffr The Bolton Group
