Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Hospice Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with two to three nights of on-call. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: N/A Description: The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a hospice setting. The Registered Nurse will work primarily during daytime shifts with some on-call responsibilities. The focus will be on delivering compassionate care to patients in a post-acute care environment. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care. Familiarity with the MEDITECH charting system is preferred. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to patient-centered care is crucial for success in this role. Participation in on-call rotation will be required, providing support during evenings and nights. Effective time management skills are necessary to ensure all duties are completed efficiently. Ongoing education and professional development are encouraged.
