Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 Days with on-call coverage 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800-Monday 0730). Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of scheduled shifts. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including PCIs, pacemaker insertions, IABP placement, and advanced procedures
• Cross-train opportunities in Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) within scope
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• 13-week assignment with one approved time-off request available

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license in hand (pending license accepted for screening but must be active for offer)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Experience with procedural sedation, cardiac interventions, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skills in IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and specialized equipment (Impella, balloon pump, laser, rotablator, shockwave)
• Willingness to float to EP or IR as needed within department
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Ability to work required on-call shifts and weekend coverage
• First-time travelers accepted
