Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting in Camp Hill, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms as needed. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with healthcare staff and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
