Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patients' clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology, respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, and are knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies. Education, Experience, Training Current and valid CA RN License Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or ER setting preferred. BCLS, ACLS upon hire and maintain current. PALS required within 30 days from date of hire. EDAP and EDAP II required within 6 months from date of hire. Compensation and Benefits Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to tailor benefits to their individual needs.
