About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Asset Management to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial monitoring and analysis of the company's real estate portfolio, which includes a significant number of affordable rental housing properties. This role involves oversight of property management operations, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance reporting. The Associate Vice President will work closely with the Vice President of Asset Management to ensure the financial soundness of the real estate assets and participate in strategic planning and policy formulation for the department and the organization. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' of related work experience in affordable housing asset management and/or property management, and a BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience. The role requires a high level of analytical and leadership skills, strategic and capital planning, and a strong knowledge of business, finance, or accounting. The Associate Vice President will also be involved in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, monitoring the physical health of the assets, and participating in the management of commercial facilities. The position demands a candidate with good communication, writing, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills, who is willing to work flexible hours and is committed to the mission of the company.
