Construction Manager

Clearview Homes, a local Southeast Michigan New Home Builder, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of one of the area’s fastest growing builders.

The position supervises all job-site construction activities involved in building a new home, including:

· Scheduling contractors and maintaining the overall project schedule

· Walking each of the assigned homes daily to ensure work is being done according to plan and meets the company’s quality and cleanliness requirements

· Resolving job-site concerns/problems as they occur

· Communicate directly with customers, municipal inspectors, sales staff, purchasing department, and management on a regular basis

· Conduct in-person meetings with customers at designated milestones throughout the process

· Participate in a weekly production meeting with all field staff

· Participate in weekly progress calls with all customers in assigned backlog

· Monitor and document job-site safety

· Manage all service work for closed homes during the 12-month warranty

Requirements include:

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Exceptional project management ability

· A minimum of 3 years experience in residential construction

· Bachelor’s degree preferred
