Utility Worker III - US

Must be flexible to work all shifts:

Responsibilities :

Participate in the safety program and work to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the plant and OSHA.
Maintain general housekeeping around the mill, including dumping hoppers/trash, cleaning floors/walls, and ensuring general cleanliness of the mill.
Assist with Housekeeping Audit action items as directed by area owner.
Assist with general duties in dry end/wet end as required, which may include using an overhead crane to move rolls, cutting of cores, slabbing rolls, and banding slabs for transport to trailers.
Use forklift as required to move broke, supplies, etc.
Keep supplies stocked in areas throughout the mill.
Understand and adhere to the mill training system, policies, and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

HS Graduate or equivalent.
Ability to use tools/equipment such as forklift, simple hand tools, clamp truck, yard tractor, banding machine, utility knife, and roll pusher.
