Registered Nurse - Med/Surg, Days

Position Details Mercy Hospital Logan County – Department: Med/Surg Status: Full-Time, 36 hours per week Shift: Days, 7am-7pm; rotating weekends and holidays Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for new graduates; up to $20,000 for experienced nurses. Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to observation, inpatient and swing patients. Our unit patient/nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure: Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state, or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements. Physical requirements/demands: Must push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Required certifications (training provided by Mercy during orientation if not already certified): ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support); BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire; other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
