We are committed to providing innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to our customers at the lowest possible cost and least environmental impact.Position Overview:The Equipment (Saw) Operator is responsible for safely operating saw equipment to cut materials according to specifications. This role ensures accuracy, quality, and productivity standards are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Operate manual and auto saws (e.g., band saw, table saw, panel saw) to cut materials such as foam, plastic, or other packaging materialsPrepare and operate equipment to cut foam planks into dimensions as defined by instructionsMeasure, mark, and verify material dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and gaugesRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut sheetsAdjust saw settings (blade height, angle, feed rate) to ensure precision cuts in accordance with safety standardsMaintain pre-and-post equipment inspectionsCommunicate equipment issues or material defects to supervisor promptlyKeep equipment and surrounding areas clean and safeAssist with Production Worker duties such as assembling packaging products, shrink wrapping pallets, inspecting products, etc. as neededRegular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the role, with or without reasonable accommodationSupport and comply with all company policies and safety requirementsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Three months + of experience in manufacturing, production or similar industriesForklift experience and prior certification preferredAbility to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations (fractions, decimals)Ability to read and follow written instructions and work ordersStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyBenefits we offer:Health insurance (medical, dental, vision)Paid sick and paid vacation time offCompany-paid life insuranceAdditional life/accidental death and dismemberment insuranceShort and long-term disability401k with company matchEPE USA is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
