Description:

24-bed telemetry unit with the capability of taking step down patients. Large rooms with private bathrooms and showers. Team Nursing approach utilized. Patient to nurse ratio is 3:1 in step down. Patient to nurse ratio is 5:1 during day shift. Patient to nurse ratio is 6:1 during night shift. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, and care plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
