Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on functional needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living.
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to maximize patient independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by clinic).
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based OT practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques.
• Proficient in documentation and regulatory compliance.
