Work Environment This position is primarily office-based, requiring regular visits to our clients' homes in The Villages and surrounding areas. Working hours are flexible, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing you to create a work-life balance that suits your individual needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations, documenting findings to shape integrated treatment plans. Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices, to restore function and alleviate pain. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique goals and progressive healing. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress, responses to treatments, and any necessary updates to therapeutic goals. Engage patients and their families in the treatment process, providing education on therapeutic techniques and recommendations for at-home care. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as needed to meet evolving patient needs. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in the field of physical therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our Physical Therapists work with a diverse clientele ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, each presenting unique challenges and recovery paths. Whether assisting children recovering from sports injuries or providing rehabilitation for older adults post-surgery, therapists at Saddleback are committed to enhancing the life quality of every individual they treat through compassion-driven care. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Proficiency in using electronic health records and documentation software. A positive attitude and adaptability to meet the varying needs of patients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred but not required; new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a home care setting is a plus, as it provides a foundational understanding of the unique dynamics and challenges of delivering therapy in patients' homes.
