Cardiologist/Non-Invasive (Part-Time)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding a Part-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers.  Today, Lincoln stands as a leader in the transformation in healthcare in the Downtown Bronx community.

Opportunity Details:

• Part-Time (21 hours per week) -Non-Invasive Cardiologist opportunity within a growing, hospital-based academic practice
• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative team environment
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Perform exercise echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram and participate in advanced cardiac imaging
• Teach and mentor medical residents and Weill Medical College of Cornell University
• Engage in scholarly activities and participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $169,050* (Board Eligible) $174,300* (Board Certified) based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $262,475** (Board Eligible) $268,250** (Board Certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

• Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.

• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
