Whether you're bringing experience from customer service, retail, hospitality, or financial services, we'll provide the training and support you need to grow your banking knowledge and build a rewarding career with Visions.Position Type: Full-Time. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays.Compensation Range: $21.00/hr. - $25.50/hr. Hiring rates may depend on directly related experience, education, geographic location, or special skills.Location: Exeter Branch, 4655 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA. This role may also support nearby branches in Muhlenberg, Shillington, West Lawn, and Reading as needed.What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed:Build trusted member relationships through thoughtful, personalized service and meaningful financial conversations.Open and manage consumer, business, and IRA accounts, and support consumer loan applications, excluding mortgages.Listen to members, resolve concerns, and recommend relevant solutions that support their financial goals.Support branch operations, including teller and Member Service Representative coverage, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Learn and grow in a supportive branch environment that allows for hands-on training and more one-on-one member interactions.Use your Spanish-language skills to help members feel understood, supported, and confident in their financial decisions.Obtain a notary license within one year; training is provided.Why You'll Love Working at Exeter:Relationship-focused branch environment with opportunities for personalized member interactions.Supportive setting to build confidence and develop banking expertise.Convenient in-store and shopping plaza location with nearby meal and break options.Opportunity to connect with members and the greater Reading community.What We're Looking For:Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma and 1-3 years of related experience; alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered.Ability to obtain a notary license within one year of accepting the role.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree preferred.Two to four years' experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry.Bilingual Spanish proficiency - A bilingual premium is offered to qualified employees who successfully complete the required language proficiency assessment.At this time, Visions Federal Credit Union will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position.We make Visions matter.
