Overview Detroit, MI MedTech Travel RN - Device Liaison role at IQVIA. The MedTech Registered Nurse Liaison experiences a unique opportunity to leverage clinical expertise in a dynamic role that goes beyond bedside care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for assisting the service team in device collection while facilitating room-to-room device upgrades. Responsibilities Navigate units and coordinate with unit nurses to assist with pulling pumps as needed. Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device. Collect devices in a hospital setting while collaborating with the department nursing staff and field service technicians. Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments. Utilize prior hospital experience and customer service skills to ensure the device collections process does not interfere with location activities. Training for this role will be provided and is paid. Job Requirements Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) required. Hospital or industry experience required. RN license required. Excellent communication skills to interact with department staff and technicians as needed. Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements. Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, kneeling and lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds. Availability for 3 weeks per month and 1 week off. Travel Requirement Full-time commitment with travel flexibility. Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs. There is not a guarantee of 40+ hours per week, but that is the expectation. Driving is a business requirement for this role and candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with driving record review prior to hire. Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home. Located within 1 hour of a major airport. Travel time and travel is paid. Preferred Attributes Emergency Room or ICU experience preferred. Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required. Excellent documentation skills. Ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision.
