RN - Oncology

Registered Nurse - Oncology

This is a 13-week contract position.

8-hour day shifts, 8x5 schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This position includes 4 weekends per 4 weeks and 1 summer holiday.

The Registered Nurse in this role will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Oncology department, focusing on the needs and comfort of patients undergoing treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and overall health status.
• Educate patients and their families on cancer treatments and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license required.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
