Packaging Operations Operator 3

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales, hand-filling machines, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL), and bagging equipment (SpeeDee & All-Fills).
Monitor equipment parameters such as temperature, humidity, and RPMs.
Set up and disassemble machinery for production and cleaning purposes.
Move materials from storage or staging areas to workstations using manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
Package final products into containers as per approved SMPs and SOPs.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Ensure final product weights meet tolerance specifications (IMW A163).
Use independent judgment for planning, troubleshooting, and decision-making related to setup and operations.
Maintain neat, accurate production records including operation/cleaning logs, batch histories, label reconciliation, and work orders.
Work overtime as required to meet business needs.
Perform additional duties as required by DCM operations.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments.
Experience operating filling and packaging machinery.
Forklift experience is highly beneficial.

Skills & Certifications

Proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of packaging machinery.
Ability to monitor and respond to equipment indicators and process parameters.
Strong documentation skills and familiarity with GDP.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production setting.
Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting and standing for prolonged periods.

Eligibilities & qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
