Job Summary Seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician with strong scope reprocessing skills for an outpatient Endoscopy Center. The role requires collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to facilitate endoscopic procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, and X-track procedures. Perform high-level disinfection of procedural equipment. Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures. Prepare and set up endoscopy rooms. Manage and maintain endoscopy equipment. Schedule / Shift Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1530 Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in Endoscopy. Must possess either SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy or be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3 years of Endoscopy experience. Strong scope reprocessing skills. Experience 3 years of experience working in an endoscopy center or GI Lab. Experience with Colonoscopes, EGD Scopes, EBUS, EUS, Enteroscopes, ERCP Scopes, Fiber Optics, and Flex Sigmoidoscopes. Certifications BLS required. SGNA or CST certification preferred. Skills Proficiency in high-level disinfection of procedural equipment. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff. Back table setup and room setup experience preferred. EMR / Systems EPIC experience preferred. ProVation experience preferred. Patient Population Patients with ASA 1, 2, & 3 classification. Unit / Specialty Endoscopy Center (Outpatient Clinic) Floating / On-Call No floating to sister facilities. No on-call requirements.
