Production Technician

A leading manufacturer of high‐performance specialty materials is seeking a Production Technician to support operations across multiple departments. This role involves working with advanced alloys and precision manufacturing processes used in aerospace, defense, transportation, energy, medical, and industrial applications.

Primary Duties

• Rotate through various positions and shifts within the production department based on operational needs, including material handling, process support, and entry‐level production tasks.

• Qualify on multiple roles and operate primary production equipment while taking ownership of the associated processes.

• Contribute to a safe, reliable, and efficient production environment while supporting lean manufacturing principles.

• Demonstrate personal responsibility for safety and encourage safe practices among team members.

• Operate a variety of industrial equipment such as mill machinery, mobile equipment, overhead cranes, material‐handling tools, slings, chains, saws, cut‐off devices, and power‐actuated banding tools.

• Monitor and operate computer‐controlled manufacturing systems, production reporting tools, and HMI‐based interfaces.

• Inspect, clean, and perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment.

• Support the facility with overtime and rotating shift coverage as required.

• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure smooth plant operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience in industrial operations or manufacturing is preferred but not required.

• Ability to pass pre‐employment screenings, including background check and physical/drug testing.

• Proficiency with computers and basic software tools.

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and effective problem‐solving abilities.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.
