Retail Sales Associate

Overview Join Verizon as a full‑time Retail Sales Associate. You will help customers discover the best Verizon solutions, grow your career, and earn competitive base pay plus commissions. Responsibilities Generate retail sales by leveraging knowledge of advanced technology and providing excellent customer service. Identify and uncover customer needs through active listening and targeted questions. Present product insights and solution recommendations to deliver a complete purchase experience. Close sales using clear communication and a customer‑centric approach. Continuously develop skills through ongoing training in merchandising, inventory, and operational functions. Grow the customer base by conducting outbound calls and texting current Verizon customers about new products and services. Engage with the local community and attend off‑site Verizon sponsored events to build long‑term relationships. Compensation Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $18,000 a year in individual commissions if all sales goals are met. Top performers may earn an additional $14,500+ in commissions, leading to total annual earnings of $65,000–$75,500+. What We’re Looking For You’ll need to have: High school diploma or GED. One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work and/or military service. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance). Flexibility to pick up additional shifts during peak periods such as summer and December. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Experience working in a commission‑based environment. Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions. Where You’ll Be Working In this worksite‑based role, you will work onsite at a designated Verizon retail store location. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours per week.
