As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier.Our Progressive Care (PCU)- Unit is a 42-bed department where Registered Nurses provide comprehensive, direct care to patients and their families. RNs practice to the full scope of their license in alignment with organizational policies and standards.Working under the direction of the Nurse Manager, nurses function as key members of a patient-focused care team, collaborating to implement individualized care plans and drive positive patient outcomes. The team is actively engaged in continuous performance improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.This unit specializes in the management of acute cardiac patients, including those requiring invasive line management and care following carotid and femoral procedures. Nurses are skilled in delivering appropriate interventions, therapies, and monitoring expected outcomes, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.Shifts are 12 hours, with both day (7A) and night (7P) opportunities available.How you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
