Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage clinical documentation quality, conduct medical record reviews, and provide education to healthcare providers on documentation best practices and risk adjustment methodologies. Key responsibilities Conduct proactive medical record reviews to ensure accuracy in documentation and coding Develop and deliver education programs for providers and clinical teams on documentation and coding best practices Collaborate with health plans on risk adjustment and value-based care initiatives while analyzing documentation trends for improvement opportunities Required qualifications Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Certified Risk Coder (CRC) through AAPC or CDI/CCS certification through AHIMA Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medicare and/or Medicaid Risk Adjustment Strong experience with ICD-10 coding and clinical documentation review In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes Virtual Vocations Inc
