The Role
As a Veterinary Ophthalmologist, you will:
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, manage medical records, and communicate with clients and staff.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff to maintain the highest standards of care from intake to discharge.
- Participate in ongoing training and practice‑management updates to enhance clinical skills and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university
- Completion of a 1‑year rotational internship in small animal medicine and a 3‑year residency in ophthalmology
- Board‑certified or residency‑trained ophthalmologist
- Current veterinary license to practice in Florida
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
