Quick Facts Location: 1086 Franklin Street, Johnstown, PA 15905 Start Date: 08/01/2026 End Date: 07/01/2027 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; 2 days/week travel potentially required to Somerset (not mandatory) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm opportunity (long-term availability preferred) License/Certs: BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist ; active PA license or IMLC with LOQ; additional PA state requirements including child abuse recognition and pain management coursework Experience: Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per legal requirements Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations in a modern practice setting Oversee APPs and coordinate patient care remotely during non-clinical hours Perform hospital rounds and consults as scheduled Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary meetings, and care planning Manage urgent patient issues outside regular hours, as needed Maintain compliance with all licensing and state requirements Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including infusion nurses, navigators, and medical office staff What You Need Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC with LOQ (applicants with IMLC are encouraged) Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology Experience in cancer care and outpatient management preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills About the Assignment This opportunity is at a modern healthcare facility in Johnstown, PA, specializing in comprehensive cancer care.
