Property Manager

Retail Property ManagerSterling is currently seeking a retail property manager to manage multiple retail shopping centers owned by the company. The individual will be based out of Minneapolis and will initially be responsible and accountable for the overall management of 11 owned assets comprised of approximately 1.4 million square feet across the United States.ResponsibilitiesDirect and assist in billing and collection of all monies, rents, and chargesCollaborate with team to meet leasing and marketing performance objectivesDevelop and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and tenants.Manage and develop all property personnelMaintain effective cost controlEnsure compliance with lease obligationsBudget, analyze and forecast property expenses, including capital expendituresManage accurate record keeping and reporting of all data for properties, tenants, and vendorsObtain bids from, negotiate with, and supervise outside vendorsOversee the condition of, and implementing programs for, property maintenanceCoordinate with other departments (e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, construction, accounting, finance and legal) in relation to property management functions.Education/Experience RequiredBachelor's degreePrior involvement in the management of retail real estate assetsSufficient knowledge of the shopping center industryStrong oral and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (familiarity with Yardi is a plus)Sterling Organization is an equal-opportunity employer.
