Phlebotomist-I
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client's medical facility, located in Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
This is a 7+ month (TEMP-TO-HIRE) job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14304
Schedule: Available 6:00am - 4:30pm, varied hours (40hours/week)
Pay Range: $17 - $21 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
- Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
Work Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
- One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
