Production Worker

Connect Staffing is hiring a Production / Packaging Associate for a food production facility in Compton, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $18.47/hr on a Monday-Thursday schedule from 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM. In this role, you will package, seal, label, and weigh finished food products, load raw materials onto production lines, and inspect products and packaging for quality. This is a consistent four-day schedule with extended daily hours, giving you three days off each week.
Pay: $18.47/hr Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-2:00 AM Location: Compton, CA Job Type: Long-term Placement Work Environment: Food Production Facility Responsibilities- Assemble boxes, containers, and other packaging materials and pack finished products into cases for palletizing or shipment.
- Operate or assist with production and packaging equipment throughout the shift.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Report product quality, equipment, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas.
- Support other production areas as directed by leads and supervisors.
- Experience on a food production or packaging line.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or food safety protocols.
- Experience with labeling, weighing, or quality inspection tasks.
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions in a production setting.
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, food processing, or warehouse environment.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a production environment.
- Must provide and wear non-slip steel toe shoes.
