Cloud Ops Engineer

Cloud operations role , Business is looking for hands-on Engineer in lieu of Architect for this role with 10-12 yrs of exp. This is going to be 100% AWS Cloud Platform Management & Operations Role with little or zero DevOps responsibilities. Relocation to Rockville, MD would be preferred but not mandatory. Working on Service-Now tickets (OS level & Cloud level troubleshooting/Remediating vulnerabilities) & adhering to SLAs. Creating & Implementing change controls, responding to RCA. Commission/Decommission of Cloud Resources Planned DR activities with different application teams. Cleanups and cost-optimization analysis and implementation Cloud Migrations and Site externalizations. Backups/Patching of instances and resources. Automations and PoCs. Adhering to all documentation standards, else a lot of re-work has to be done.
