Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. The role includes the proper use and maintenance of sterilization equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The technician will collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols is essential to maintain a sterile environment. Candidates must demonstrate competency in sterile processing techniques and possess strong organizational skills. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team are essential. Regular participation in ongoing training and education is expected to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
