Title
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Travel experience required
- RN license: GA or Compact license required at the time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (NIHSS listed)
- Core clinical skills: Telemetry care; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; care for ventilated patients and patients on BiPAP; management of acute cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, and sepsis presentations; familiarity with common telemetry/step-down diagnoses.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in a telemetry unit, providing care to adults and geriatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while maintaining a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: ~12 hours (non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length)
- RTO (requested time off): Max 7 days per contract; holiday RTO restrictions apply.
- Pre-approved time off: 1 shift approved per contract.
- Floating: Yes, within facility/scope and possibly to a partner facility.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
