Are you a reliable, personable dental hygienist looking to make a difference in patients’ lives? Whether you are an experienced RDH or a new graduate, you’ll find a rewarding home at Dr. Stephen Tabori DMD. Our practice allocates one hour for new adult patients and 45 minutes for recall visits, ensuring you have ample time to provide high-quality, personalized care.
Dental hygienist
Job Description Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health histories
Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and apply fluoride as needed
Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and preventative care
Set up and clean your hygiene room; sterilize dental instruments
Take digital X-rays and accurately chart existing treatment and periodontal status
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for each patient
Monitor hygiene supplies and notify team when reordering is necessary
Assist the dentist in selecting appropriate treatments for various oral diseases, including oral cancer screenings
Foster a friendly, patient-centered environment and work collaboratively with the dental team
part-time $50 - $55 per hour

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (alternating every other week)
Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling, with rotating Saturdays and some evening shifts
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Licensed dental hygienist
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license (NJ)
Valid X-ray/radiology certification
CPR certification
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA health and safety regulations
Excellent communication skills and a patient, friendly personality
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work as part of a team
